Between 29th February 2016 (when Tropical Data started) and February 2025 we have supported surveys in over 3,900 Evaluation Units (EUs), examining over 12.8 million people in 53 countries.
On average, with our support, 1 person is examined every 26 seconds for trachoma around the world. This was celebrated by some of our trainers here.
Since 2016 we have trained and certified over 1000 teams to conduct surveys for trachoma. We have also supported capacity strengthening, training over 200 trainers across the globe to support training workshops.
